Visit LACH DIAMOND at productronica Munich/Germany: 40 Years LACH Diamond Tools

for circuit boards – composites manufacturing
cutting – scoring – sawing – milling

The productronica, the world’s leading trade fair for innovative electronics production, was held for the second time in 1975.

Looking back on 40 years, LACH DIAMANT was worldwide the first manufacturer presenting polycrystalline (PCD) diamond tools for cutting, scoring, sawing and milling on a Swiss Amacher machine for PCB production (see photo of stand at productronica in 1977).

At the same time, this was the first presentation of diamond tools for the machining of plastic and composite materials, a method which only gradually gained speed during the last twenty years.

The developers of LACH DIAMANT in Hanau, in Saxonia, and of LACH DIAMOND INC., Grand Rapids/Michigan were always known as “pioneers of innovation”.

PCBs today – and long since not only based on CEM 1 – feature materials such as aluminum, ceramics and even “diamond film” in an industry in which miniaturizing has always been a key consideration.

In Munich, LACH DIAMOND will show visitors precise solid carbide saws for PCB depanelling with cutting width to the smallest width of 0.3 mm; higher feed rates are guaranteed with correspondingly higher throughputs.

LACH DIAMOND depanelling cutters allow for a highly automated production with inline depanelling cutters.

Based on previous highlights introduced at EMO in Hanover, it can be expected that LACH DIAMOND will have many more ideas ready for productronica in Munich.

You will find innovative diamond tools at productronica in hall B3, stand 301. Our LACH DIAMOND team is looking forward to your visit.
